How do you say "Good Night?"?

It is 5:30 in the am.

Time for bed.

(yea, I know, but I work nights so...)

What is your bed time ritual?

How do you say good night to the ones you love?

Put the cat out?

Left side or right?

Radio on or off?

Check the locks first?

Scrunched the pillow up?

Hog the blankets?

Say a prayer?

Peek in, one last time, on the kids?

Wish you had kids to peek in on?

Kick the dog off the bed? Call him up onto the bed?

King size? Queen? Twin?

Milk before bed? water?

Bathroom run?

Little reading? TV?

Just lay in the dark thinking until you fall to sleep?

Dulling your brain with answering Yahoo! Answers?

Anyway, good night and good dream journeys.

Hope your rituals have you willing and ready when the Sand Man comes a'knockin'.

How do you say "Good Night?"?
What a sweet question! I loved the long paragraph after it, too.

Well me, I say good night in the middle of the day usually, my parents are old and I visit them every day, so when I leave I yell "huggies!" and give them both good night kisses and hugs and a little back scratch. I try never to miss a day .. we never know which is the last time .. (fortunately I live close by so it's not too hard to do).

At home I say good night to my teddy bear and my teddy dog (I think it's a dog, it doesn't look like a bear .. I gave it to my niece years ago but now she's "all grown up" and was ready to bin it so I decided to give it shelter till she changes her mind). I read a prayer, and have a long chat (or a short one if I'm really sleepy) with God, and that's it. Lights out. I like the fact that the last thing I say is Good night, God .. and the first thing I say in the morning is Good Morning, God.
Reply:Ferrets in the cage, lights off, doors locked, give him a peck on the cheek, say goodnight and off to sleep...very easy!
Reply:nitenyt dear...
Reply:let the dog out to pee one last time,go to bathroom, check on the kids, set the cofee pot and alarm, lock doors, turn out lights, and hold my man in our king size waterbed
Reply:Give the cats and the dog one last bit of food before bed, water them too, turn down the air, lock the doors, grab a glass of water, watch some t.v., go to bed.
Reply:I say "good Night"
Reply:'Nighty nite. Sleep tight %26amp; don't let the bedbugs bite. Or you could say, "nightmares" or even " wet dreams......................."
Reply:g'night!
Reply:"Good night, I love you guys, I'll see you in the morning."
Reply:Take the dog out, bring the dog in, give her a treat, put her to bed. Make sure the house is locked up. Turn out the lights in the living room. Three kisses, "Sweet dreams, see you in the morning, %26lt;snore%26gt;"
Reply:Well i usually start off by drinking my last cup of coffee/tee/Milo then i take out my contacts, then brush my teeth, go to the loo, say good night to my mother, check if all the doors and windows are locked, climb in bed, read a little while if it is close to 11 o'clock in the evening i turn off the light and get in a comfortable position to sleep in, in my 3/4 bed and then sms my bf that i am tired and in bed and that i am about to sleep and that i love him and good night, then he will probably sms me back or call to say good night. I shuffle around a bit and then almost immediately fall asleep!!! And oh if I sleep it has to be quiet (no radio or TV) and very dark, otherwise i can't fall asleep!!!!
Reply:i have 3 kids so my night time ritual includes them. After their baths, they get their jammies on and their hair is done, teeth are brushed,, i send them to bed, we talk a little while, read a story, sing some songs, and then pray. I give them all a few hugs a few kisses, wish them sweet dreams, and say "I love you all so much" "good nite ". Our night time ritual is the favorite part of the day.
Reply:Try taking your booty to bed.
