I'm in a play as the Queen and i don't know what to wear. Help?

I'm in the play "Princess and the Pea" as a spring play. I'm the queen and i don't know what to wear! For those who don't know, it's a fairytale, so i'm looking for something sort of midevil or rennisance like. Nothing pink, only practical queen colors. Blacks, burgendys, colors like that. My mom can make something, because we have 3 months until the opening night. If you have any ideas, pictures, places to get a pattern, anything, please give them to me. Oh, and i would like it to be poofy.

Here you can get some patterns for modern dresses and from there you could adapt them a bit?
