SO, what do you think about "THE QUEEN" ???

Just seen it last night..and i guess it is too much about Prices Diana..Why didn't they do a movie about the queen's reaction to Camilla parker??or sth else..coz we know the story of Diana ..coz it's quite an old story

Great point about Camilla - what did the Queen make of all that?





I personally thought the movie was not-sooooo-bad...the producer/director did a good job of making me feel uncomfortable in certain scenes (mainly with the scenes with the mourning masses and the funeral procession).





My only real question is this: Elizabeth has been queen for some time and has been queen through some very monumental times in history - why make a movie over this particular event in her reign as Queen?





Now all the limeys are going to have my head for not thinking that the death of Dianna was not the most single important event in the last 15 years!

All in all, not that bad - just quirky in spots.

Reply:I haven't watched the movie, nor do I care to. The only royal I had respect for was Diana ... the rest of them are Jerry Springer material ....
Reply:Not so much a great movie but a fantastic performance by Helen Mirren. The resemblence was uncanny. She expertly captured the queen's walk, mannerisms and facial expressions.

Reply:havent seen the movie but she is the most dangerous .rich and powerfull woman on the planet ,but has managed to hide the fact quite well.
