What is my voice type?

I don't know what my lowest note is but I can hit the high high F, like the one sung in "Queen of the Night" in the Magic Flute...SOMETIMES I can hit the high G but thats kind of pushing it. I know there are soubrettes and whatnot but I have NO idea what I am. My voice is light and not heavy like Sarah Brightman...

What is my voice type?
If you can hit the F in the Queen of the Night's Aria..."Der Holle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen" Then you are a Soprano. Not a mezzo (means 'half') in Italian, and definitely not an alto.

Mozart was proud to hear his sister-in-law Josepha Hofer hit that F. She was the first Queen of the Night, and he wrote it for her. Your range sounds very good. Figure out your low note and that will help you also.
Reply:Yeah... I agree with the last post. And the person who said you're either a mezzo or a coloratura soprano... I'm sorry, but I don't think you don't know what you're talking about. Those two types are like apples and oranges, day and night, etc. It sounds like you're a soprano, but nobody can say until they hear you sing. You should go to a professor, or teacher and sing to them and ask them.
Reply:sounds like an alto to me
Reply:mezzo soprano

or coloratura soprano.
Reply:sorry i cant help it!
