I'm going to a rave and I need to know how to make my makeup last all night?

It's a Gothic Greek mythology theme called Mythos for around Halloween and I'm dressing up as the Queen Of Hades. So as Queen of the Underworld I'm going to use ALOT of gothic black makeup techniques. I'm good with makeup designs and applying it but the rave is 9pm to 4am. How do I make it last that long without applying it every hour? After all it IS a south florida rave so there's gonna be some sweating involved. Please help!

Or, if you really don't want to buy new makeup, for your mascara dip your brush in a little bit of cokking oil, and the dip into the mascara formula. Apply.


For your eyeshadow, I always put some chap stick on my lids before putting on the eyeshadow. But not to much, because it will clump! Lol.


The only thing you will need to keep reapplying is the lip gloss, because, well, if you talk, laugh and eat your lipgloss bound to come off unless you get the one I showed you above! That one lasts like 2 freakin hours! Thats really good for lip gloss! Lol.

Reply:it just depends on what make up you buy... they make a lot of water proof that stays on try covergirl
Reply:I think the best thing you can do is try to get some really good quality make up like Estee Lauder, Dior, Lancome..etc. The more expensive it is,chances are it will last alot longer. But if you dont want to spend alot of money for that one night of make up, I think Covergirl and Maybelline are pretty good drugstore choices. They even have products made specifically to last like 10 hours so look for those :)

Reply:Oh man, I don't even wear makeup to a rave, except for lots of eyeshadow (wet the brush, put chapstick on under it and powder over it) and tinted moisturizer. Don't worry about it. Use eyeshadow, though, NOT eyeliner, or it'll smudge all over the place..Though, it does look hot when your hair's all over the place and your makeup is screwed up.
Reply:lay off the X pills. then you won't sweat so much. otherwise water-proof make up. common sense hunny.
Reply:The best advise i can give you is make sure your foundation is one of those "liquid to powder" formulas. and use powder versions of almost everything else.


i.e for the black eyemakeup try to avoid a liquid liner...and make sure the mascara is waterproof.





Lips are the easiest to re-apply
