The Queen.?

Did anyone see Queen Elizabeth at the Kentucky Derbry last night at 6:pm? What did u think of her hat? I thought she would have had a better 1, the other hats people were nicer. What do u think of the other hats?

I would have preferred the hat to be a solid , pale citron color,like the rest of her ensemble.But,the Queen chose a color that would help her stand out in a crowd and be noticed;perhaps the red raspberry crown of her hat was made as a nod to the red roses of The Kentucky Derby.The colors were the only things wrong with her hat. For the most part,I've liked the way the Queen has dressed during this trip;she's chosen sleeker,more tailored unfrumpy ensembles to wear. She really looks nice.





I did not like Jenny McCarthy's over-sized-costumey hat;she was trying too hard to look bon chic-bon genre but she failed by going over-the-top. I wear hats;I wear them everyday,so I do notice when other people wear them. There were many women wearing chic,simple and becoming hats that set off their outfits as well as their faces to the best advantage.

The queen represents a high social standard.......the other ladies were wanna bees.





It's like saying a hooker has a more showy outfit than the First Lady. The two are not up for comparison.





All the other ladies were wearing hats for fun. The queen wears them as part of her 'presence'.

The ladies at the derby all want to out do each other. With a once a year fashion statement.
Reply:The Queen has never been known for her taste in hats or clothes for that matter. I wish I could have seen her smile, at least once. It was a great race.
