What to do in NYC on a Friday Night?

All suggestions welcome. we are not the party heads, or the club heads. we prefer something intimate, quiet, creative, poetry readings, romantic places to just hang out in this big city minus the noise and rowdy atmosphere. its not the summer so a park or beach are kinda far fetched...so what's a good hang out spot for a Friday night in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens for sayyyy around 10 pm-ish and onwards... we are between 24 and 26. we just wanna do something a bit unconventional yet enjoyable thats not crazy expensive

It is usually quiet and the vendors should all be gone by then. I don't know if that is in Brooklyn or Queens though...

It will be in the city, but you could window shop...

You could take a long walk if you want... Across the Brooklyn bridge.

Central Park is okay, but I haven't been there at night, so I don't know what it is like...

I have been to New York, but only during the day...

Oh, and do you have a hotel room? That would be a good place to be...

Or Starbucks. They are on EVERY corner up there...

Get Coffee and all that. It should be quiet. Usually it is in Starbucks. At least the ones I go to.
