I finally got to watch it on DVD the other night. I cannot believe Anne Rice had anything to do with that abortion. And poor Aaliyah had that for her last act. I have been a fan of the books since Interview came out, but if Queen is how movies are gonna be done. I for one hopw they never make another. I could have written that better if I started using drugs and getting drunk.
What the hell happened to Queen of the Damned?
An abominiation against man and vampire alike. I guess that Anne Rice had no artistic control over this project since I can't believe she could have approved that disaster. It just goes to show that movies can be based on a great work and then totally destroy the original concept and metamorphize into something else.
Reply:Yeah it was a terrible terrible movie. That is one of the few movies where there was literally no plotline.
