What happens if you sneak a person into a hotel room at night?

does the hotel actually care if I do this? as far as I can tell the price is the same wether or not I have a second person in my room or not?

Only problem is that my itinerary says I have a queen bed, is there a way i could request another bed without them getting suspious?

What happens if you sneak a person into a hotel room at night?
All hotels in Vegas price based on 2 in a room. You will have no problem at all asking for 2 beds at check-in since they dont really care if its 1 or 2 in the room. Asking for a roll away in addition might raise a question or 2 but simply asking for 2 beds is a common request. Also, if you are staying at a major hotel, they have thousands of rooms so they cant be bothered with keeping track of how many are staying in a room.
Reply:Well I was hoping the 2nd person was for a rendevous of an intimate nature.

The hotel doesn't care. Just ask for the other bed.

If you have a loud party then they will become annoyed.
Reply:If you plan on 'sneaking' in one extra person, they won't mind. The price of the room is still the same (as you stated) and that extra person is an extra person who can gamble and shop.

If you plan on sneaking in 5 people, they may have a problem.
Reply:A room price is usually double occupancy. If so, they won't care if you have another person there. However, if the price is based on one person, and they find out, they will charge you.

If you request an additional bed for a single person, I would hazard a guess it would raise their suspicions.
Reply:I've stayed in hotels with 4 or 5 of us in a room where's there's only supposed to be 2 people. You'd think with two beds and a cot, they'd realize there wasn't just 2 people in there!
Reply:I don't think they care. I rented a single room for one night because I had to take the Praxis at a University that was two hours away from my house. After I checked in, I got my boyfriend out the car and he walked past the front desk into the hotel room with me.

About an hour later, we walked past the front desk again to get a pizza from the carryout place next door. The front desk people didn't car.
