Did anybody here ever listen to early Queen?

In my high school years, I was a Queen fanatic! Did anybody else go through those magical Queen creative days? Queen I, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At the Opera, and A Day at the Races were great!!!!!

Yes, very underrated period of Queens music I believe.


My dad actually owns the original record of A Night At The Opera in mint condition, I listened to it constantly growing up!

Reply:Right the way back to the days when the album sleeves had a note on them.....It said....No Synths.....It was properly played music, and it was far better than the current crop of rubbish we have to endure today...

Reply:We have something in common my first album was Night at the Opera and it was on vinyl and the most amazing album I had ever heard then Day at the Races came along and I was hooked on them. Freddy Mercury for me was the ultimate showman and they are without doubt one of the best bands to grace the stage. I can still remember the first Live Aid when he sang Radio Ga Ga and had the whole crowd going amazing. And I took their advice and met a few fat bottom girls they made my rockin world go round yeah.

Reply:I saw Queen in concert when Freddy Mercury was still alive. What an awesome concert. I loved Freddy!
Reply:Love Queen's early stuff. Queen at the BBC has stuff on it from Queen I also. Love Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack the most with Night at the Opera and Day at the Races second.

Reply:My mom is a Queen freak, I've heard every song on every album and watched all of the videos. I was the kid in elementary school who knew all of the words to songs I shouldn't have even known exsisted.
