Did anybody else watch Secret's of Egypt's Lost Queen on the Discovery Channel at last night (Sunday 9pm)?

It seems like Hatshepsut was really a powerhouse. One of my favorite parts was when the scientists composited the three faces to make one to use as a reference for the Tut family. What did everybody else think of the show? What was your favorite part?

You must be on the east coast as here in Arizona it's 10:40 and still on. What I can figure

is she stepped outside the norm for a woman

and became Pharaoh, bumping her step-son from the position. That and grooming her daughter to step into her position. Then too playing footsie with a "commoner" may not have helped much. By today's standards that isn't enough to kill a person but back then it may have been a political coop of some kind.

I really enjoy these type of shows - even liked the Indy Jones movies.
Reply:i wasn't able to finish it because i had to sleep early. what could she have done that was so horrible (or at least the people around her thought was so horrible) that she was erased from history????
