What is a good, lively downtown bar near Queen Street where locals go and are welcoming to Americans?

I would like to find a place that gets a good and diverse crowd on a Saturday night. The ideal place would have a down-to-earth feel and a clientele of 25-45 year olds.

What is a good, lively downtown bar near Queen Street where locals go and are welcoming to Americans?
As far as being "welcoming to Americans", just be a gracious guest and you should be fine. I think the only time Canadians have a problem with American tourists is if they come up here and try to boss us around, or make fun of our accents etc. It's really quite old lol.

Try the Queen's Head Pub. Here's some other ideas too.

Reply:Believe it or not, there are more than one large cities in the world who have a "Queen" street downtown. What city are you in darling?
Reply:Hi, this bar was recommended to me by a co-worker, however it is at Adelaide and John, which is not far from Queen and John- very close walk. In regards to the "welcoming to Americans" part of your question- just don't make fun of our beer! :)"
